EarthVoice was founded in 1995 as a practicum for the conclusion of a two-year program at the Institute for Small Group Development. Utilizing the four wisdoms highlighted by cultural historian Thomas Berry (Traditions, Women, Indigenous Peoples, and Science) a small group explored their relationships and spirituality.
A participant in the first small group was so excited by the material shared, she instituted a new level of the EarthVoice family. EarthVoice for Kids premiered in July, 1996. Children ages 5 through 10 experience a one-day event dedicated to finding the Divine in Nature and each other. These events are held seasonally.
A weekend retreat in August, 1996 explored the Wisdoms in greater depth with the guidance of five internationally-known presenters: Clifford Matthews, Martha Bartholomew, Wayne Teasdale, Maureen Mangen and James Yellowbank.
In 1999 and 2000, EarthVoice held it’s very successful “Voices of the Earth” festivals. These festivals brought awareness of our programs to the public.
In 2001, EarthVoice further expanded it’s educational capabilities by offering the programs of the Global Balance Institute. |

EarthVoice is dedicated to exploring Self, God, Community and Creation through the Wisdoms of Traditions, Women, Indigenous Peoples and Science.
Using community-based intimacy and the integrity of the circle, ceremony, and ritual, EarthVoice events provide experiential, body-connections to balance informational, mind-centered programs.
On the growing edge of holistic approaches to spirituality EarthVoice conducts all activities with an attitude of non-violence and loving kindness, and an embracing attitude toward all blessings and perceived discomforts. Sustainable resources and natural products of the Earth are of the highest priority in all administrative and program supplies. |
